Virtual (Digital) Classrooms

This page shows my work in a digital classroom platform called NovoEd. This platform allows instructional designers to use the interactive components to create courses while allowing SCORM packages from Articulate and Captivate. I used different tools to make the course, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Premier, Camtasia, Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and Microsoft Office products.

The company is a financial investment company, so I am limited on what assets I can send to myself. I designed courses to train associates on available products, services, and the systems utilized. Here are screenshots from my recent courses.

SIMPLE TOA

After the SIMPLE IRA courses’ pilot, I was asked to put together course performance information for the department. Since the company doesn’t have a template or a system in place, this is a manual process that takes some time. Instead, I created an excel workbook containing visualizations and pivot tables from quality data. This workbook is now being turned into a Tableau dashboard for the entire department to utilize. Here is an image of the visualization.

I also performed the process on the NovoEd data. This data was a little difficult to manipulate. I had to use the power query feature to convert the information into a table that I could pivot. There wasn’t a formal process before. Now, this workbook is being converted into another Tableau dashboard for the entire department to use to help analyze and evaluate course, quiz, and job aids.
